Coping with Shoulder pain

I've had shoulder pains for the last.. emh, maybe 7 months? I work out at a gym 3-4 times a week, and I use the shoulder pulley exercise there according to the instructions on the machine.

But, does anyone else have shoulder pains? Don't get me wrong, the pain is only there when I pull my arms up in the air or lift them at all. The pain isnt like extreme, but its noticable, specially if I try to throw a ball/catch it.

So, anyone else? Im just wondering if there is an connection. My computer stands on the ground, while my screen is on a table (coffee table size) and I sit in my own couch with the keyboard on my lap. The shoulder does *not* hurt at all while I sit here.
